DWAYNE "MIKE" HOLT, SR.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dwayne Michael "Mike" Holt Sr., age 71, of Alma, NE., on January 5th, 2025 at 5:53 PM after a long battle with cancer. Mike passed with his long time significant other and love of his life, Elaine Rosane by his side in their home in Alma. At Mike's request, there will not be a funeral service or burial. He further requested to be cremated and his ashes to be spread in some of his favorite places to vacation, and for his family and friends to have a celebration of life (a party). Mike was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 11, 1953. Mike loved fishing, exploring the woods, river banks and lake sides. He was owner/operator of M D Construction with his son Dwayne for several years in Sidney, NE. Mike was in home building and remodeling type construction most of his working years.

Mike is survived by his significant other, Elaine; six children, Dwayne and wife Felicia Holt, Marcia and husband Ken Kelly, Steven and wife Evelia Holt, bonus son Robert and wife Danielle Fletcher, bonus daughter Nichole and husband Jake Rosen, and bonus son Dustin Scott; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Rosemarie Ruch and brother Ronald; and many nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents William and June Holt; twin brother Dennis who passed just six hours after birth; brother Butch and sister Bonnie and his grandparents.
