Missoula Children's Theatre to hold Auditions for Pinocchio

SIDNEY – Auditions will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) production of Pinocchio at the Sidney High School from 3:45pm to 5:45pm on Monday, January 27th. Those auditioning should arrive on time and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.

Among the roles to be cast are Pinocchio, the Blue Fairy, Jiminy Cricket, the Fox and Cat, Candlewick and Crew, Urchins, School Kids, Puppets and Toys. All students in grades K thru 12 are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, and props. MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week and cast members must be available for all assigned rehearsals.

Pinocchio will be presented at the Sidney High School Performing Arts Center in a special student matinee performance at 9 am on Friday, January 31st, and in a public evening performance at 7 pm on Saturday, February 1st.
