Controversy Over Grant Reimbursement Leads to Fireworks at Visitors Committee Meeting

SIDNEY--On Wednesday, January 8. 2025, the Cheyenne County Visitors Committee held its regular meeting, and the meeting was cut short when a controversy over a grant reimbursement caused Visitors Committee President Brooke Denovellis to declare, “I quit”, pack up her case and leave the meeting.

At the last Visitors Committee meeting, Denovellis and other committee members were having trouble with the grant reimbursement for the Downtown Sounds event.
