JANEENE RENAE STAAB

Janeene Renae Staab, age 49, formerly of Sidney, passed away in Casper, WY on Sunday, November 17, 2024. Services and inurnment in the Kimball Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Janeene Renae Staab, the daughter of Frederic Gilbert Touney Jr and Lorraine Miller, was born on April 15, 1975 in Englewood, CO. Growing up the family moved around quite a bit to Arkansas, Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska. Janeene went to Rossman Elementary in Cheyenne, WY. Then the family moved to Casper, WY where she went to Dean Morgan Middle School. While there she was in ROTC and went to Gurnsey, WY for training. This was something she enjoyed! Frederic and the kids then moved to Sidney, NE in 1990 where Janeene attended Sidney High School.

She met the love of her life here, Corey Dean Staab. They got married April 16, 1992 and welcomed two kids into their life, Steffen Wrae and Tawny Elizabeth, whom they both loved and were so proud of. Janeene enjoyed softball, pool and darts and she was very outgoing. Janeene was a member of the Sidney Jaycees. She worked at Cabela's for a few years then became the supervisor of Pizza Hut. After Pizza Hut she worked at The Silver Dollar until she moved back to Casper, WY to be with her mom, Lorraine. She really enjoyed working and being around her coworkers that turned into family. When she moved back to Casper, WY she would volunteer at the Mission for the holidays. She loved riding her Honda Shadow 250 motorcycle when she could. Chrome was the color of her bike which was perfect since it was her favorite color! In her free time she loved baking cakes and decorating them, crocheting, and doing any craft. She loved watching NCIS her favorite character was Abby. She loved collecting anything Indian related: pictures, kicknacks, you name it... she had it. She was artistic and enjoyed all forms of art but mostly drawing and painting as well as writing poetry. Family holidays were her thing, she was a great host and took pride in making sure that everybody felt comfortable and had a seat at the table.

Survivors include her children: Steffen Staab (wife Mirela) Staab of Cocoa, FL, Tawny (husband Andrew) Redwine of Cocoa, FL, granddaughter: Natalie Morais of Cocoa, FL. Her siblings: Bernadette Touney of Casper, WY, Erica (husband Wayne) Wittrock of Sidney, NE, Scott Touney of Casper, WY, Patrica Miller of Casper, WY, Mother: Lorraine Miller of Casper, WY and numerous nieces and nephews.

Janeene was preceded in death with her cat Lilly, Father: Frederic Gilbert Touney Jr., Love: Corey Dean Staab, Brother Frederic Gilbert Touney III, Aunt Kathryn Theis, Nieces and Nephews: Ethel and Mary Touney, Theilor Wittrock and numerous friends she loved dearly.
