Arleigh Lincoln "Pete" Nelson, 101 of Loveland, died November 25, 2024, at Lakeview Commons in Loveland due to congestive heart failure.

In 1965 they moved from the farm to Loveland, CO, and he worked for Great Western Sugar, Woodward Governor, Davidson Chevrolet and ended up at Northern Colorado Equipment.

At 70, he started the business of Nelson Home Repair followed by Nelson Blind Repair until he retired at age 95. He was a member of the Loveland Elks and St. John Evangelist Church, where he sang in the church choir. He was a loving husband, a wonderful Dad, a memorable grandpa (Boompa to some), and a loyal friend.

He is survived by his cat, Leo, three daughters, Charleen Warriner (Matt), Pam Nelson (Mike Aho) of Loveland and Jodi Hart (Ed) of Berthoud. He has five grandchildren: Nicole Smiley of Loveland, Shawna Reardon (Bill) of Yankton, SD, Dylan Sommerfeld (Amber) of Windsor, Ross Hart (Jenny) of Berthoud and Andi Hart of Fort Collins.
