Liam Luynado was hitting nothing but net Sunday afternoon on his way to a second place finish in the Boys 8 and 9 year old category.
SIDNEY--The Elks Lodge in Sidney held their annual Hoops Shoot in the Sidney Middle School Gym on Sunday afternoon. Youngsters from around the area had their chance to show off their sharp shooting skills, and qualify for the regional competition and then hopefully make it to the National Hoop Shoot. At the end of the day, the results were as follows:
For the girls:
• 8-9 Years: First Place - Zella Schening -
• 10-11 Years: First Place - Ainsley Juelfs
• 12-13 Years: First Place - Ava Brown
For the boys:
• 8-9 Years: First Place - Brooks Behrends
