Delta Dawn When the Light Comes On: Week 45

"I will stand my watch and see what the Lord will say when I am corrected. Write the Vision and make it plain upon tablets, that he who reads may hastily run with it," Habakkuk 2 It's clear God is not Democrat or Republican. He is The Covenant Keeper Psalm 89:34 He issued a 'white paper' to our Founding Fathers who had this verse firmly in mind. They knew a Republic was an experiment, yet it has become a beacon to other nations as a pinnacle to reach for.

We, The People, are privileged to carry out this vision! Elections ended, do we scrape the mud off, and say, "Done and done!" then return to a comfort zone? Proverbs 18 warns that "poverty overtakes like a thief in the night the man who folds his hand to sleep". Jesus instructed, "Watch and pray, lest greater temptation overtake you." John 17

Fervent prayer will create a power pad for this new President and Congress. Doctor, Lawyer, Parent or Pastor, the next generation must be our focus. Tinkers, tailors, soldiers or spies, God has a definite purpose for placing us here, now, at this time, in His Plan for Man. Let us rise to it!

Plainly written by His inspired men and women, the Bible is a 'white paper, written in red' to prosper us, keep us in health, help us obtain wealth and sustain harmony in our relationships. III John 2-4. As Believers, we must teach, preach and heal by speaking Bible truth over our governing future, our children.

Many of us were called 'Stupid' or 'Dummy' when we were young, not acting like, or understanding, grown-up actions or reactions. This is ill advised!

Our children never wanted we parents to go and speak to teachers who bullied them. We did it, anyway. Most often, this disrespect came through a tenured teacher who didn't like our child's relatives! Here's a work ethic: Responsibility. Own (remember) who you are in Christ Jesus: covered by His Blood and watched over by His angels! Psalm 91. There's authority, here. Stay the course!

One newspaper delivery boy had trouble collecting from a neighbor. Finally, he wrote a note. "Mrs. Jones, if I am not paid by tomorrow, you will hear from my mother!" Another son was challenged to a fist fight, just off school property. Dad gave this advice, "Hit him first!" Bullies threaten but rarely fight back.

My father had filled out the application which gained me a free ride on Colorado State University, Still, when he came to visit many years later, as I prepared a meal for him and Mother, somehow, following a long-time habit, he called me 'Dummy'. I approached his chair, looked down at him and said, "That is the last time you will call me 'Dummy'." I now realize I was holding a heavy skillet at that moment! Really, no one has called me 'dummy' since!

If ever there is a time to put the brain in gear before opening the mouth, it is now, while the nation and her children, begin anew! "God is not willing that any perish. Better that a milestone be put around your neck than you offend these little ones," Matthew 18.
