Shirley Marlene (Siemers) Madden, entered eternal rest on October 23, 2024, at the age of 91.
Funeral Services were held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sidney, NE on Tuesday November 5, 2024 with Pastor Ted Bourette Officiating. Interment followed at the Potter Cemetery in Potter, NE.

Shirley was born on April 30, 1933, in Gurley, Nebraska, to Edward and Sophie (Sudman) Siemers, Shirley's life was a testament to her enduring spirit and unwavering love for her family.
Shirley's life journey led her and her husband Rolland "Rip" Madden, through various towns in Nebraska, Iowa, Wyoming, and Texas, ultimately settling on the Madden family farm south of Potter, Nebraska. She was a dedicated homemaker, a skilled bookkeeper and supportive farm wife, balancing the demands of family and farm with her professional pursuits. In addition, she was an active member in her community and church, her warm and compassionate nature endeared her to all who knew her.
Shirley's greatest joy was her family. She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating countless cherished memories. Her love for her family was boundless, and she was always there to offer support and guidance.
Shirley is survived by her loving children: Kevin (Amy Harms) Madden, Jana (Mike) Ring, and Tina (Jerry) Allmendinger. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stacy (Shane) Buchholz, Tanya (Brian) Lee, Jedidiah Ring, Austin (Jessica Johnson) Allmendinger, Tori (Reid) Battles, and Chase Allmendinger, as well as her great-grandchildren, Harvey and Nora Buchholz, Ivor and Vera Lee, Braxton Battles, and Astra Allmendinger. Shirley is also survived by her sister, Carol Henke, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rolland, infant son Clifton, parents Edward and Sophie, stepfather Hugh Paris, brothers Gerald "Bud" (Edna) Siemers, Francis "Tuff" (Esther) Siemers and Clayton "Gene" (Susan) Siemers, infant sister Peggy Ann, sister Janis (Frank) Osweiler, brother-in-law Cyril Henke.
As we mourn the loss of this remarkable woman, let us celebrate her life and the enduring legacy of love and kindness she leaves behind.
