Quilts of Valor Presented to Area Veterans

SIDNEY--On Sunday, November 3, 2024, two area residents were honored for their military service in a most comfortable and warm way, by receiving Quilts of Valor special made for both recipients. Over 400,000 of these hand made quilts have been given out to veterans that are nominated for the award by their local communities. Sidney afternoon, a presentation was held at Light Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sidney, and Sally Harris and Paul McMillan were awarded their hand-made quilts.
