Executive Director of Keep Sidney Beautiful, Michelle Haun, greets attendees to a special Halloween-themed Open Mic Night at C. Elliot Blooms & Modern Moves Studio.
As part of Keep Sidney Beautiful's Open Mic Night, the October community event was held for the first time at C. Elliot Blooms & Modern Moves Studio, 1900 Illinois Street in Sidney.
Decorated for the season, a special Happy Days Yard Card served as the backdrop to the spooky decor and lively performances of the evening celebration. To complement the evening, hot apple cider made from scratch and other treats rounded off the event. The participants played to a full house, and the mic was well attended even though it was a Friday football night. Monologues, dancing, instrumental and vocal music delighted and impressed. Performers from 10-40 braved the rainy weather to don their scariest costumes and perform.
The next Open Mic will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Elston House, 1005 10th Avenue in Sidney. The event will begin at 6:30.
