Local Sidney Agent Receives Prestigious Honor

Awarded " Young Agent of the Year 2024" at the Big I Conference in Kearney NE on October 10, 2024, Alex Weiss proudly represents his industry and community. 

Joining The Insurance Store team in February 2024, Weiss quickly became a valuable asset. His dedication to the community and passion for helping others have been evident in his work where he specializes in farm and agriculture insurance. Weiss' expertise has made a significant impact, and his efforts were recognized when he was awarded the prestigious Young Agent of the Year award by the Big I of Nebraska, an organization representing over 500 independent insurance agencies across the state. This honor reflects both his commitment and the respect he has earned within the industry. This is the first time an agent from Cheyenne County has received this honor.

 The Young Agent of the Year award is presented annually to the agent 45 years or younger with six or fewer years of insurance experience, who has demonstrated remarkable dedication to their profession by involvement in national, state, or local association activities, put forth personal efforts to further themselves as an insurance professional, have keen skills in selling insurance, and are involved in community activities.
