A jigsaw puzzle tournament sponsored by Friends of the Sidney Public Library took place on Sunday, October 13, 2024. A total of 14 two-person teams worked together to assemble a 500-piece puzzle with the top three teams receiving prizes as well as an opportunity to participate in the Lodgepole puzzle tournament in Spring.
Team "Queen Bees": Elizabeth Dunnigan and Kelsey Brown took first place finishing in 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Team "Get Jiggy With It": Shelly Peckham and Rhonda Douglas finished in second place with a time of 1 hour and 21 minutes.
Team 3 was comprised of Chelsea Butts and Ashley Lundgen, who came in third place with a time of 1 hour and 28 minutes.
