Warrior Offense Too Much for Crawford, 60-42

CRAWFORD--Leyton's Warrior Football team has adapted well to their move to 6-Man Football, racking up another win early in the season with a 60-to-42 win over Crawford. Junior Alec Watchorn tossed four touchdown passes and rushed for 51 yards as the Warriors offense clicked and racked up 367 yards on the ground and through the air.

Freshman Colt Van Anne rushed 11 times for 71 yards and two touchdowns, junior Jeremiah Hajek rushed three times for 34 yards and a touchdown, and sophomore Isaac Rohde had two carries for 47 yards and a touchdown as the Warriors' offense spread the ball around to score.

Van Anne had three catches for 50 yards and two touchdowns, Watchorn had three catches for 41 yards, and sophomore Hunter Borges had two catches for 38 yards and two touchdowns. Junior Kaleb Miller had an eight-yard catch for a touchdown for the Warriors.

Hajek led the defense with 15 total tackles and a sack while Watchorn had two interceptions and a fumble recovery. Van Anne had three tackles for loss in the victory.

Leyton moves to 2-and-1 on the season and will next host rival Potter-Dix after a bye week. The contest against the Coyotes is scheduled for September 27 with a 2 p.m. kickoff.
