WELDONA, CO.-- Peetz's Bulldog Football team bounced-back from a loss to Caliche last week with a big win over Weldon Valley, 75-to-26. Led by by sophomore Conner Schumacher's 130 rushing yards and two touchdowns, the Bulldogs rushed for 264 yards and passed for 131 yards in a contest they needed to win.
Sophomore Dylan Wagner rushed nine times for 93 yards and two touchdowns while Schumacher caught three passes for 63 yards and two touchdowns and led the defense with 17 total tackles. Sophomore Tanner Wood and junior Logan Vallier each had an interception while junior Korbin Segelke and senior Collin Fehringer each had a fumble recovery.
Peetz next hosts 2-and-1 Briggsdale on Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
