The Warriors get ready to take the field against Sioux County.
HARRISON-- The Sioux County Warriors were able to build up an early lead against the Leyton Warriors on Friday, then held on to take the 46-to-31 victory. Leyton played well, scoring in every quarter, but the 20 points in the first quarter and 18 points in the second Sioux County put up were too much for the Warriors to overcome.
Sophomore Austin Beutler excelled throwing the ball, passing for 153 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. The Warriors next travel to Crawford on Friday to take on the Rams at 7 p.m.
