A big crowd came out to the Cheyenne County Fairgrounds on Thursday to cheer on the Sidney Middle School and High School Cross Country teams.
SIDNEY--Sidney's High School and Middle School Cross Country teams descended upon the Cheyenne County Fairgrounds on Thursday for their annual pre-season scrimmage, and a big crowd of supporters turned out for the exciting event. The high school and middle school athletes looked great as they traversed the course and gave it their all in the hot afternoon sun.
The High School Cross Country team will have its first action on August 29 at the Panhandle Classic in Scottsbluff, and both the Middle and High School teams are expected to compete at the Chadron High School/ Middle School Meet on September 13.
