Lady Coyotes Ready to Challenge Top Teams

POTTER--Potter-Dix's Lady Coyote Volleyball team had a strong season last year, finishing 19-and-15 with a strong close to the season. This year, Head Coach Keri Mendoza sees a young and athletic squad ready to build on last year's success and better their 2nd place showing in D2-11. It will be a challenge with many strong competitors on the schedule, but the girls have been putting in the work and improving their court coverage and serving skills.

On Thursday, August 29, the Lady Coyotes will host a triangular to start the season, with Minatare and powerhouse Leyton coming in to challenge the Lady Coyotes. Look to see competitive matches all around, as the Lady Coyotes gear up to face a strong Leyton team to gauge where they match up with the best teams in the panhandle. Expect a big and raucous crowd in the Potter-Dix gym, which always happens when these two inter-county rivals meet.
