The Potter-Dix Coyote Football team has been practicing and getting ready for another State Title push, opening their season on August 29 on the road against the Peetz, CO Bulldogs
POTTER- After an undefeated regular season and a big win in the first round of the playoffs against Red Cloud last year, the Coyotes were bounced from the State Tournament by Parkview Christian. The Coyotes are back this year and are re-tooling to get over the hump and play for a State Championship. The Coyotes have made playoff runs the past four seasons, with at least one playoff victory during each run.
The Coyotes return four key starters and are bolstered by a talented group of underclassmen that will make the Potter-Dix squad tough to beat. They get a big test early, against a strong Peetz team to open the season on August 29. Led by long-time Head Coach Dale Frerichs, the Coyotes have a hard-hitting defense and explosive offense which should take them deep into the playoffs for a fifth straight year.
