"And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures." Luke 24:45 Jesus spoke comfort to His Disciples near Emmaus, first, that Scripture is true and His death, burial and resurrection was planned!
Jesus came to teach everlasting life, preach the goodness of God, heal the sick, cast out demons and undo the works of the devil. I John 3:8. God counted it righteousness to Abraham (as if sin had never happened), who would teach his children. Every parent in Christ Jesus is anointed to raise their offspring by the nurture and admonition of the Lord; that is, Bible principles and commandments.
Generations rotate in four states of learning and leading: Pioneer, Nomad, Hero and Artist. Pioneer to Artist run concurrently, but one seems to dominate, about every 80-ish years. NOTE: Father has each generation born into times designed for them by His Plan for each individual soul. Jeremiah 29:11
Pioneers seek to build within the dynamics of current society. They leave behind the 'artist' period preceding them. Our Founders left Britain for this very reason. Pilgrims and Puritans set out to obey God and find a way more perfect. The current 80-ish years began after the Great Depression of the mid-1930s.
About twenty-ish years later, World War II ended, television taught the children. They sought an ideal scenario. From the cusp of freedom came 'hippie', feminist, and 'yuppie' movements. Male or female, who knew? Casting off known morals, hair, drugs, vans and illicit sex was big stuff. The "Jesus Movement" found them on the beaches of California and Florida, from late 60s into late 70s.
Heroes began NASA. Clyde McGee, John Glenn and Sally Ride, pioneered satellites, walked on the moon, and died doing it. Nuclear ships and cell phones, social media. Opinion and 'Yellow Journalism' set out to deceive the unaware.
'Artists', ultimately unjust, now paint pictures of elite persons who nullify God's truth in marriage, parenting, and the U.S. Constitution. Darwinian and Marxist ideals flourish, being taught, and caught, by today's generation. Darwin fosters racism, Marxism, Godless laws and they raise colors of devilish demeanor. Artists never fail to overplay their hand as seen in Afghanistan, "Summer of Love", open borders, inflation, defunded police and military, January 6, 2021 and praying grandmoms.
Pioneers are here! Admitted Jesus People, these sharp, youngsters seek truth and Bible values, lest history repeat itself, once again. Thirty years plus in age, they learned from elders who taught and fought for them, bringing them to understand the Scriptures. However we may identify ourselves, our future is in this generation!
Yes, they will test authenticity. Let us be beacons of God's character put within us by the power of Holy Spirit! Let our children see that we have been with Jesus! Acts 4:13. "If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me, and where I am, he will be also, and My Father will honor him." John 12:26
