Arlene E. Christensen

Arlene E. (Hennig) Christensen, age 104 of Cottonwood, Arizona, formerly of Lake Montezuma, AZ and Sidney, NE, died August 15, 2024 at her home in Cottonwood, Arizona. Survivors include special friends Diane and Barry Dunham of Cottonwood, AZ and ten nieces and nephews including Byron Sharman of Sidney. Arlene was preceded in death by husband Frost, parents Gus and Minnie Hennig, two brothers, Fred and Rich and 5 sisters: Ada Sharman, Helen McKinley, Wilma Larsen, Louise Chichester and Adele Runge. Cremation has taken place and no services planned.

Arlene will be remembered by all as a witty, fun-loving, penny-pinching gal. She was everybody's favorite Aunt. She loved children, being with friends, laughing at funny stories, golf, watching Husker football and cooking up a good soup. She was an avid letter writer and at 104 years of age was still sending e-mails daily to her nieces and nephews. She will be missed.
