Feel The Earth Move Under Your Feet! Carole King Tribute Artist To Perform In Sidney

SIDNEY – At 7 pm on Thursday, September 12th, celebrated international vocalist and piano prodigy Michelle Foster and her combo will take the stage at the Sidney High School Performing Arts Center to perform their hit show WELCOME HOME: The Legacy of Carole King.

This nostalgic concert will take the local audience on a captivating musical journey through over 25 unforgettable hits made famous by King, the two-time Hall of Fame inductee often referred to as the greatest female songwriter of all time. Selections will include “I Feel the Earth Move,” “It’s Too Late,” “Will You Love Me Tomorrow,” “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” “You’ve Got a Friend,” and many more. Foster is known for her bubbly personality and her ability to befriend audiences through song and story. It will be an unforgettable evening of music and memories.

Foster has been performing professionally since the age of 14 when she was chosen to perform as a soloist at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Since then, she has studied at The Juilliard School, the Liz Caplan Vocal Studio, and worked with prominent directors in New York. Michelle and her musicians have shared the stage with Aretha Franklin, Frank Sinatra, Gloria Gaynor, Tony Orlando, and even Carole King herself. She now tours full-time in North America and Europe, conducts musicals, and teaches voice. Michelle is also passionate about figure skating and is a dedicated dog mom.

WELCOME HOME: The Legacy of Carole King, will open the High Plains Arts Council’s 38th season. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, $5 for students, and children under five are free. Tickets and season memberships will be available at the door.
