CHAPPELL--The Deuel County Fair was a great success this year, starting on August 7 with 4-H Exhibit Hall entries and Open Class entries. The Fair was in full swing on August 8 starting with the Beef Weigh-In, Swine, and Sheep Weigh-In in the morning. By the afternoon, the vendors were set up and the Open Exhibit Building was open to the public. In the evening, the Deuel County Royalty and Crowning of the 2024 King and Queen drew a big crowd, and many stayed for the Local Talent show.
