POTTER--The 2024 Potter Volunteer Fire Department Firefighters Memorial Golf Tournament was held August 10 at the Prairie Pines Golf Course in Potter. With 17 teams participating this year, three separate flights of golfers were necessary. In the championship flight, a scorecard playoff was necessary as two teams each finished with a score of 44. First place went to the team of Lane Juelfs, Jeff Halley, Mike Halley, and Mark Monheiser, and then second place went to the team of Brandon and Brooke Gasseling, Michael Schular, and Ryan Lee.
