Three days at the Ogallala Team Camp, and the two Sidney teams played a total of 96 sets over their time at the camp. The Sidney white team earned a spot in the silver bracket and the Sidney red team finished third in the gold bracket with a win over Ogallala in the last match. The camp increased the confidence in the girls' play, and improved all of their skills, and the girls can't wait to get on the court and compete next month.
The girls went 6-0 at the Wiggins, Colarado team camp and came home with "Champs" t-shirts. The girls are getting ready for the Volleyball season next month.
Samantha Hammond of the UNK Volleyball program stopped in Sidney for a camp for our local girls volleyball players. The girls learned some new skills, and got a great workout as they start preparing for Volleyball season next month.
