The town of Chappell would like to thank their local Rotary Club for the funds to purchase two new water fountains installed at the Chappell Pools, as well as their Parks crew for installing them for the club. They appreciate your contribution to our community!
Those water fountains will be put to good use on Tuesday, July 30 when the Chappell Pool Park will be rife with fun and entertainment. Starting the evening will be the Chappell FFA chapter providing the last of the July Dinners with "walking tacos" from 5 pm until 7 pm. Following at 8 pm will be a free showing of the movie "Water Horse - Legend of the Deep". The entire community is invited to attend. It is recommended that you bring your lawn chairs, blankets, snacks, and of course, all of your friends, to enjoy the family-friendly fantasy movie rated PG.
The movie is free for everyone and is sponsored by the Chappell Chamber of Commerce.
