NE Chamber Welcomes Toshia Jones

LINCOLN, Nebraska - NE Chamber President Bryan Slone today welcomed Toshia Jones , pictured above, to the NE Chamber team. Jones will serve as Regional Navigator for the Western Region through 6 Regions, One Nebraska. 6 Regions, One Nebraska was founded in 2024 in partnership with Governor Pillen and the Nebraska Department of Economic Development to enhance statewide economic development through community and partnership relations that will benefit each unique region of the state.

"Toshia prioritizes her community and keeps teamwork at the forefront of what she does, making her an excellent person to spearhead 6 Regions, One Nebraska in our Western Region," said NE Chamber President Bryan Slone. "Her experiences in community collaboration will make her a strong asset for the initiative."

A native of Sidney, NE, Jones most recently served as president/CEO of the Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce. Prior to that, she spent seven years at the USDA-Farm Service Agency. Jones has been a member of the Cheyenne County Rotary Club since assisting in its founding in 2022. She also has her Disciplined Agile Scrum Master and Associate Professional in Human Resources certifications.

Jones earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Northwest Missouri State University, followed by an MBA, also from Northwest Missouri State.

Six Regions, One Nebraska represents a forward-thinking approach to economic development in the state. This initiative will assess the assets and economic resources of each community college region to create tailored action plans for regional benefit.
