Delta Dawn When the Light Comes On: Week 25

Jesus rebuked the Sadducees "'You know how to discern the sky, but you do not discern the signs of the times. No sign will be given to a wicked and adulterous generation except the sign of the Prophet Jonah.' and (He) walked away." Matthew 16:2, 3.

Sadducees did not believe in miracles or the afterlife, but were Isarel's leaders at the time. They contested everything Jesus taught and finally, it was the High Priest, Caiaphas, who ordered His crucifixion. Jesus spoke to the faithful of His unexpected return: "Watch, therefore!"

Biblically there are 4 watches. First watch ends one thing and begins another. Noah was instrumental, here. The 2nd watch restructures, renews and strengthens. Moses' Law defined evil and good, showing Israel how to choose good and God.

The 3rd watch began at Pentecost, ending the curse of the Law with Jesus' sacrifice. Those who believe on Him today are translated back into the Garden of Eden, where we walk with, and talk to, Father any time of day. Genesis 3:8

"In the 4th watch Jesus went to them, walking on the sea." Matthew 14:25 The U.S.A. is here, now, when the winds of doctrine (teachings) on the earth are boisterous. 'Sea' and 'waters' may translate as "multitudes of peoples and voices".

By God's hand "evening and morning were the first day". Genesis 1. Father God rolls up His sleeves to work on our behalf from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. This creates a certain rhythm to God's Grace! When we are quiet, He works, but when we speak and do, He stands aside until we cry out, "Lord! Help me!" Genesis 1:28.

From 6 to 9 p.m. following Noah, we finish today, clean the kitchen, secure the property and put the children to bed. Not a time for social media or Nightly News. Nightmares result from adverse opinions and evil reports.

9 p.m.-Midnight is the most rejuvenating time for the body. It's like getting two hours of sleep for every one hour of slumber. This is the time the body removes toxins, checks the function of every vital organ and heals itself.

Midnight to 3 a.m. is for spiritual growth. Holy Spirit knows the heart of the Father, so He asks you, "How far will you go with Me?" Most of us recall a 2 a.m. 'wisdom meeting' full of unsolved questions such as 'who should I marry?' 'Am I on track?' 'Where is my ministry, Lord?' Based on your own values: Psychological, intellectual, emotional and social, your heart's desire will answer. He needs your willing obedience to put a Plan in place. Is your hand in His? 2 Corinthians 1:22

At 3 a.m. lungs awaken and intercessors report for duty. Jesus works through Believers during this 4th watch, to pray in tongues and intercede for you. While satan has no clue what Father has told you, he will, now, bring every accusation he can to your mind, even nightmares.

"Father who searches hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is because He makes intercession for the saints according to the Word of God." Romans 8:26
