South Platte NRD is pleased to announce the recipient of this year’s scholarship award program. Kimball high school graduate Braylon Miller will receive $500 toward his college education. Miller will attend Western Nebraska Community College and continue his education at Chadron State College pursuing a major in wildlife management/wildlife biology.
Our scholarship program is designed to recognize achievements and encourage students who have an interest in Natural Resources, Environmental or Agricultural studies. Each year, the SPNRD awards one $500 scholarship to an outstanding high school senior based on academic performance and personal statement. Applicants must be a resident of Kimball, Cheyenne, or Deuel counties and attend college in the State of Nebraska.
Miller is an animal lover and outdoor enthusiast and is eager to pursue a career in wildlife conservation. He is the son of Chad and Julia Miller of Kimball.
