Delta Dawn When the Light Comes On: Week 15

"But you have an anointing from the Holy One and you know all things [within that anointing] because the anointing received from Him abides and teaches you [to solve problems with a touch of class]. I John 2:20, 27

A teacher once said it this way, "It is that 'indescribable something' that raises the A to A+". Anointing on someone is sensed rather than seen. That is, we may observe someone is 'a natural' at something. My Granny made the best bread. None of us could duplicate it, even with the recipe and much practice. Mother was excellent with doughnuts. My daughter is a master with flaky pie crust. I am good at soups and sauces. Who knew? Father God!

Looking around your family and the people you know, you'll observe this phenomena, also.

The truth is, God put all of Himself into all of us at conception. Then He tweaked certain traits to accomplish and execute something for the Family of God. Jeremiah 29:11 This is why opposites attract. Strengths given to men blend with weaknesses in women – and visa-versa. Husband and wife may discover this principle shortly after the honeymoon. However if, as a couple, they live and move and have their union with Jesus, miraculous, amazing things occur for them and their children.

When our son was graduating from Naval Officers Candidate School, we were invited to attend a three-day graduation event. There were 600 plus parents present. We found the farmer, the publisher and enjoyed a delightful relationship with the Commanding Officer during that time. We found one another by common speech patterns and other 'body language'. We were impressed, and apparently, impressive! Only God could have known all of us and brought us together!

"For all the promises of God are 'Yes!' and "Amen!" by the glory of God through us, whom He anointed by The Anointed One, Jesus of Nazareth." I Corinthians 1:20, 21. Just as the anointing on Jesus was apparent to the masses, that unique, one-of-a-kind expression of Himself in you, is fully, firmly established by His love.

When we think of the 12 Disciples, Jesus chose according to the wisdom – and design – of Father God. Peter, the elder, experienced in catching fish, would understand 'fishers of men'. Matthew understood Roman government. Phillip and Andrew investigated details, finding resources needed for miracles to occur. Nathan and Bartholomew believed Him to be Messiah. Of course, Judas Iscariot was to betray Him to authorities. No part of this Plan could fail!

Jesus took these men into 3½ years of intense training and revelation so that they could duplicate His work, exactly as taught; imitate and reflect His Anointing. This was made possible by His Blood on the cross to cleanse their human vessels! Now, within themselves, they could be endued with the Power: Holy Spirit Anointing.

"Peace (wholeness) be unto you! As the Father has sent (anointed) Me, so I send (anoint) you." He breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit!" John 20:21, 22

Next Week: Say So.
