The Chappell Rural Fire District is now accepting sealed bids for a 1999 Chevy 3500 until mid-May.
The vehicle is 4-door, 4wd with 6-door utility bed and extra boxes mounted on top. It is fitted with a 2000 lb full-bed slide out, with an on-board 5000w generator, and halogen scene lights on extendable poles located on all four corners. It comes equipped with a 7.4 liter (454) gas motor with 8800 miles, A/C, and power locks and windows. All six tires are BFG commercial T/A all-seasons 225/75R16 10-ply tires with less than 500 miles.
