Jachob (Jake) Wiedeburg pictured above with his mother, Donna, was a standout Cross country runner at SHS and UNK, and has qualified for the Boston Marathon three times.
SIDNEY--Sidney High School has announced that SHS alum Jachob Wiedeburg will be coming back to Sidney as an Assistant Coach for the Sidney High School Cross Country team starting in the Fall of 2024. A standout runner that graduated from SHS in 2015, Wiedeburg went on to run cross country and track for the University of Nebraska at Kearney for five years. After his time at UNK, Wiedeburg ran three marathons, and qualified for the Boston marathon three times.
