Bulldogs to Host First Regional Tournament Game Friday

STERLING, COLO.--Peetz's Bulldog boys basketball team avenged a loss to Briggsdale, on February 2, to win their second straight 1A District 4 Tournament Saturday afternoon at NJC in Sterling, Colo. The game started as a close battle as both teams fought for points in the early going, with Peetz earning a slight 15-to-14 edge at the end of the first period. The Bulldogs then turned it on, putting up 20 points in the second quarter while holding the Falcons to just 13 to take a 35-to-27 lead at the halftime break.
