SIDNEY--Bright and early on Saturday morning, local small business vendors and shoppers descended upon the Sidney Elks Lodge 1894 on Jackson Street for the Small Business Saturday Vendor Fair. All kinds of interesting products and services were offered by local businesses, many of them perfect for the Holiday season.
Kelsey Arrington of C. Elliot Blooms and Trevon Newmann of Modern Moves Fitness and Dance Studio had two tables set up with all types of gift ideas for the Holidays. Kelsey showed the details of her popular Christmas Gnomes and other great gift ideas for the season. Homemade jams and jellies, crafts and gift designs were all featured by the many vendors who participated in the event. There was food and drinks available for shoppers who came out in snowy weather to purchase items from local Cheyenne County vendors.
The Sun-Telegraph urges local shoppers to think of shopping locally as much as possible during this holiday season. Local business provide jobs and economic support for our community, and rather than spending money with online companies located thousands of miles from home, always consider dropping in to our local businesses where you can see and feel products prior to purchase, and know that your dollars are going to support our local businesses and community.
