He retired from High West Energy in 2021 after 37 years of service.

Craig wed Rhonda Halligan in 1981 and they had three children: Shala and husband Kevin Hartmann, Tyler and wife Kandis Schuessler and Brittney and husband Jeffrey Clement. They became foster parents to numerous children and adopted three: Kelsey Schuessler, AnnaLeigh Schuessler, and Fedalina Schuessler.

Craig was a force of nature, determined to provide for the family. Family meant more to Craig than anything else in the world. He also served the community by volunteering as a fire fighter and EMT. Craig would do anything for anyone.

You could often find him golfing, hunting or camping at lakes. He enjoyed get-togethers, socializing, telling stories and making people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his father Harold Schuessler and his brother Eugene Schuessler.

He is survived by his children, and his four grandchildren: Karley and Landon Schuessler, Kennedy Hartmann and Lennon Clement; his mother Bonnie Schuessler and his sisters Colleen and husband Marvin Coufal and Cheryl and husband Robin Baldwin.
