I-80, Sidney Eastbound Rest Area under construction until projected date of Oct. 2024
NDOC - Road work on the I-80 Sidney eastbound rest area, near reference post 51, began September 25, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Kingery Construction of Lincoln is the contractor for this project. Work includes the construction of a new rest area building.
No traffic will be permitted in the rest area. Anticipated completion is October of 2024.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
