Ernie Couch & Revival coming to Sidney

SIDNEY - Gospel and Christian music fans should circle 6:30 p.m., on September 29 on their calendars. On that date, Nashville, TN gospel act Ernie Couch & Revival, will be in concert at the Church of the Nazarene, 1445 Jackson St, in Sidney.

Three generations will be bringing a mixture of 20th Century gospel classics and originals to town. Known across the United States and Canada for their live music, good humor and genuine spirit, the group has been described as refreshingly different, and a lot of fun.

Jason Couch stated, "We want to reach people from all age groups and backgrounds, with the message of the music. We enjoy what we do and want the people to enjoy it just as much. We certainly will give it all we got, in the time we have."

The group has been traveling the road for over three decades, presenting a professional evening of music. In addition to a Grammy nomination, they have had a number of songs on the gospel charts, both in the US and abroad. They have recorded with such greats as: George Beverly Shea, Jake Hess, George Jones, Petra, James Earl Jones, Patti Page, Poco and Dallas Holm.
