CHAPPELL--It must run in the family, because Kennedy Bocock is following in her older sister Jordan's footsteps on the golf course, collecting a big bag of medals during the first month of the Girls Golf season. She started back in August with a sixth place finish at the Bayard Invite, then followed that up with a first-place win at the Kimball Invite. Next up was the home course at the Storm Invitational where she earned third place, then another win at the Perkins County Invitational. Her latest medal-winning performance was at the Mitchell Invitational on Friday, where she placed fifth.
Bocock is having a great time out on the course, and should be well positioned for the District Tournament and will hopefully earn a qualifying spot for the State Tournament.
