Roberta was a kind and gracious woman. She always had a smile or a kind word for people she met. She was unselfish; always putting others before herself. When she knew company was coming, she would always go out of her way to have something she knew they liked. The following words, found on a piece of paper among her possessions, support this: "When I'm gone remember me in a sunset or in the smile of a friend. Don't spend a lot of time or money on me after I die. I'll be celebrating with loved ones who are already in heaven".
Survivors include her daughter Kathy and husband Ken Thompson of Lincoln, NE, daughter Janet
and husband Greg Stammer of Sun City, AZ, son Steven and wife Lisa of Sioux Falls, SD, brother Norman Partch of Sutherlin, OR, and sister Mary Jane Buss of Sidney, NE. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
