Frances Eilene Lindner, age 84, of Lodgepole, NE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Sidney Regional Medical Center with family by her side. She is now with the Lord.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 28, 2023 at New Hope Fellowship Church in Lodgepole, NE with Pastor R. J. Savely officiating. Cremation has been held. Inurnment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Lodgepole. Services will be livestreamed on the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel Facebook page and recorded for later viewing on our website.
Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel to sign Frances' book. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to American Lung Association.

Frances Eilene Pittman, the daughter of Mary Hazel (McNamara) Pittman and George Hendryx Pittman was born in the year 1939 on a farm near York, NE. She graduated High School and started working as a Telephone Operator in York, NE and took care of her mother Mary. She then met Carl Lindner and was later united in marriage in 1960 and eventually had 3 children.
Frances, like her late husband, was a person who loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Frances, her husband and their children traveled to many different states for Carl's employment on highway construction. Eventually they decided to settle in Lodgepole, NE. Over the years, Frances and the children would continue to travel to many of Carl's job sites in multiple states during the summers. Frances, her husband and the children would embark on many excursions in the Colorado mountains, fishing, hiking or just having a good family barbeque. Frances also worked multiple jobs in the Sidney area and retired from Safeway in Sidney, NE.
Frances has had many lifelong friendships. She will not only be missed by family but by a multitude of people she has touched throughout her life.
Frances loved cryptograms, gardening, planting flowers, cooking, crocheting and sewing. She was also an avid lover of hummingbirds.
Frances was a very loving mother, grandmother and friend and she will never be forgotten.
Frances is survived by her children, daughter Carla Berges and husband Bruce, son Eric of Sidney NE, sons Keith Lindner and Gregory Lindner and fiancé' Angie Stanfill, daughter Callie Stanfill of Aberdeen, MS, brother, Johnny Pittman and wife Shirley of Sun City, AZ and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Lindner, parents Mary and George Pittman, her sisters Mabel Ann Pittman-Willhoite, Mary Pittman-Bundy and brothers Robert Pittman, Charles Pittman, and niece Ruth Anne Bundy.
