Peggy, the daughter of Dorothy and Marvin Kettler, was born in Sidney, NE on November 18th, 1953. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1972 and got engaged to the love of her life at her Senior Prom. They moved to Fort Collins, CO where Peggy worked for Dellenbach Chevrolet while Tom attended CSU. Tom and Peg moved back to Sidney in 1976 where they settled down and began to build their life and family together.

Peggy had many jobs through the years including working for the local high school, bank and most recently for Cabela's/Bass Pro. She always found her most important role to be raising her family and caring for others. Even in her sickest of days she was still ensuring those around her were taken care of and always put everyone else's wants and needs first.

She had an amazing sense of humor, enjoyed gambling, traveling, spending time at the lake house, golfing, baking, playing games, instigating the family water fights and spending every moment possible with her granddaughters.

Peggy is survived by her husband Tom O'Connell Jr, daughter Jenna Beck and husband Brandon and their daughters Ellie and Jaden of Grand Island, NE. Her son Michael O'Connell and his wife Kaylee of Sidney. Her sister Virginia Olson of Sidney, brother Dale Kettler and wife Bonnie of Springfield, MO, sister-in-law Heather Kettler of Muskegon, MI and numerous extended family members.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Dorothy Kettler and brothers David and Don Kettler.

Peggy Lived her life by a few simple rules:

Help Each Other

Always Tell the Truth

Do Your Best

Keep Your Promises

Pay with Hugs and Kisses

Use Kind Words

Don't Be Afraid to Laugh at Yourself

And Most Importantly Say I LOVE YOU

May she rest in peace.
