Potter-Dix Schools announce back to school drive

POTTER – Potter-Dix Schools (PDS) announced a back-to-school supply drive in cooperation with Community Action Partnership (CAPWN) of Western Nebraska, which began accepting applications on July 3 and will run through July 31.

According to PDS, local families who need help with school supplies for the 2023-2024 school year are asked to call CAPWN-Sidney at 308-254-5856 to schedule an appointment and fill out an application.

Applications are now being accepted and will continue to be accepted through the end of the month. Those interested are asked to provide proof of income.

Another organization working with CAPWN-Sidney is the United Way of Western Nebraska with its 'Stuff the Bus' event. Those interested in helping or seeking help are asked to contact the local United Way office in Sidney at 308-635-2522.
