Pedalers Corner in Sidney to send each child home with a free bike
If you’re a kid living in Cheyenne County, then Northside Park in Sidney will definitely be the place to be on Wednesday, June 21st.
Scheduled to be held from 11am until 2pm, any child age 1-15 will be treated, free of charge, to a delicious lunch accompanied with games and prizes, music, and an opportunity to board the Sidney Public Library’s Bookmobile where they can check out a new adventure.
Some kids may be too excited to eat however, as Pedalers Corner in Sidney will be on hand playing Springtime Santa, donating enough bicycles to the event to ensure that any child who wants one can go home with a new bike.
Charter member Toshia Jones said “The event is to primarily to let people know that the Cheyenne County Rotary Club is here and that we are here to serve the community”.
Deb McCaslin, Rotary Club’s District 5630 Governor will be in attendance.
There are no eligibilty requirements to attend or to receive a free bicycle.
