Delta Dawn When the Light Comes On: Week Nineteen

"A good name is better to be chosen than great riches; by humility and honor of the LORD are riches and honor and [eternal] life." Proverbs 22:1, 4

The Bible declares, Jeremiah 29:11, that when God has a job to be done, He has a baby born! We know their names even: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph. Moses, David, Daniel, Jesus, Peter, James, John and Paul – even you, even me. Father never changes. We are given a journey of preparation and spiritual growth to arrive at the crucial moment when we must voice our God-given authority in Messiah Jesus. We, My Friend, have been born for such a time as this, today!

It was January in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma. Snow covered the ground, wind chilly and night falling. Claudia Priscilla, a Choctaw-Cherokee lady was walking across the meadow toward a neighbor's house where a child lay deathly ill. She spoke to God concerning her unborn child. "I want a boy, Lord. He should be tall, with blue eyes and black hair. Give him a voice to preach Your Gospel," she asked, "and have him bring healing to many people in the earth."

Claudia Priscilla then climbed through a barbed wire fence, came into the house and prayed for the feverish child. By morning everything was well, so she walked home to her husband, Ellis Melvin, a preacher and farmer. January 24. 1918, the couple welcomed their fifth and final child. Yes, he would be tall, his eyes were blue and his hair black. He announced his birth with a lusty cry and his parents gave him a name that became the 7th most recognized name in the world: Granville Oral Roberts.    

Spanish Flu had begun its 1918-1919 rampage, killing some 675,000 Americans.

November 7, 1918, another globally recognized name was given: William Franklin Graham, Jr. My mother, Phyllis Crete Brands, joined the living November 23, 1918. Mother returned to Heaven aged 85, on her birthday, at her request. Prophets declared that both Oral and Billy, however, had created spiritual portals for Father God to work through, so they could not decide when to leave for Heaven. Oral was delayed to age 96, Graham, 99. Graham was only the 4th private citizen to lie in State at the U.S. Capitol Rotunda, February 28, 2018. Marvelous is God's Goodness!

Oral connected the world to physical, emotional and financial healing. Billy put the globe on notice that Heaven was real and so was hell. Mother's bloodline connected me to William Bradford, Governor of Plymouth Colony for some 30 years.

Father hears it, bringing closer His Kingdom and destiny He wrote in your book at conception. "The thoughts I think of you, says the Lord are thoughts of peace with a future and a hope with an expected outcome."
