Delta Dawn When the Light Comes On: Week Eighteen

Father God, in His simplicity, has ordained "As long as the earth remains, seed, time and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer and daylight shall not cease." Genesis 8:22. Harvesting means taking seed out of the barn, planting at the correct time, cultivating, fertilizing and applying the sickle! Man has his part (Mark 4:26-29) and Father's recipe works on time, every time.

Unfortunately, many approach seed sowing, both spiritual and natural, as an intellectual exercise. Prayer is made, but intellect devises a 'back-up plan' in the event God is on vacation. We 'hatch' a REAL plan! If the heart believes 'I've got this!' what part does God play? He gave us dominion over our seed. He has to, legally, step out of our way while what we believe - and say - comes into being. Father will not do for us what He gave us authority to do. It's a Kingdom Law! Name your seed the desire of your heart! Genesis 1:26-28; Isaiah 55:11; Mark 11:23

The parable of tares reveals an enemy sowed weeds among certified (pure) seed, Matthew 13:24-30. Are we that enemy? Sowing "You watch, it's so dry, it will be a wonder if the seed comes up." "The Great White Reaper will come." A "Yeah, but, Well, I think ..." weed planter contaminates the spiritual atmosphere with prophetic words which cannot be taken back except by he/she who spoke them! Call such words to the ground unheard; of no effect, in Jesus' Name! I John 1:9

Many think words they say mean very little and alter nothing. However, Jesus says this: "Make the tree good or the tree bad, for a tree is known by its fruit. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, so I say to you, for every word that men may speak, he will give an account of it in the day of [judging fruit to be good, ripe and ready]. By your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." Matthew 12:33-37. Notice: Changing that which your heart truly believes will change what you say! AND, what you reap!

When I first heard the dynamic effects of 'confessing the Word', I was eager for results. Much as I would say the right thing, nothing seemed to be happening. Being a seeker, I attended a large convention where activating faith principles was the topic. At the invitation of ushers, we sat on the front row. The main speaker strode back and forth as he taught. Suddenly, he stopped and put his index finger very close to my nose! He announced, "You must believe what you say!" My heart leaped and the Light came on! Mark 11:23. All of God's promises are "Yes, and Amen (so BE it!)." Hearts (spirits) believing, will SAY the promise!

Kingdom gates opened! Any promise, concerning any need, is guaranteed when I will trust God to do the deed. This is faith. "In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence. His children have a place of refuge and a fountain of life to turn one away from death's snare." Proverbs 14:26, 27
