The Creek Valley Storm Track & Field teams traveled to Sutherland to compete at the Sutherland Booster Club Invite, and at the end of the day's competition, both Creek Valley squads placed ninth in team scoring. Wallace was the winner in the girls competition with 121 points followed by runner-up Hershey with 90 points. For the boys, Hershey took first place with 112 points, edging runner-up Hitchcock County with 112 points.
For the Creek Valley boys, freshman Zander Polk placed sixth in the 1600 Meters with a time of 5:50.56 for their only team score of the day. For the girls, junior Alexxa Fletcher placed third in the 100 Meters with a time of 14.83 and sixth in the 200 Meters with a time of 30.71, junior Samantha Marin placed sixth in the 1600 Meters with a time of 6:27.25 and freshman Kyndi Martinez placed fifth in the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 57.70. The 4x100 Meter Relay team of Elizabeth Whiting, Ella Whiting, Jentry Snell and Alexxa Fletcher placed fourth at 57.51 and the 4x800 Meter Relay team of Anna Spiers, Chaeli Polk, Ella Ningen and Samantha Marin placed fifth at 11:56.86. Junior Ella whiting finished the scoring by taking fifth in Long Jump with a distance of 14' 0".
The Storm are scheduled to host the Storm Twilight Invite on April 11. The Storm Invite scheduled for April 4 was postponed due to inclement weather.
