Rhonda L. Cumbie

Rhonda L. Cumbie, 71, of Middleburg Florida, passed away at Middleburg Rehabilitation Nursing Center in Middleburg Florida on Thursday, March 9, 2023. She was born June 20, 1951 in Kearney, Nebraska to Wilsie and Bernice Krotz. On October 14, 2005 she married James Cumbie in Middleburg FL. As per her wishes, cremation will take place with a private family gathering at a later date.

Rhonda grew up in Kearney and lived most of her younger life in Sidney. In 2002, she moved to Florida to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening and crocheting blankets. In her later years, due to health issues, she enjoyed staying in touch with her family and friends via social media.  

She is survived by her husband, James of Middleburg, FL; two sons: Lance (Stephanie) Barker of Middleburg, FL; Adrian (Marcie) Barker of Gravette, Arkansas; one daughter, Dema (Shawn) Raddatz of Middleburg, FL; 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Krotz of Kearney, NE, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dennis.
