Deadline for HS Seniors to Apply for $1000 Spearow Scholarship is April 29th, 2023

All High School seniors that reside and attend school within Cheyenne County that are currently pursing an ag-related education program are welcome to apply for the Ralph and Olive Spearow $1000 Achievement Scholarship. This includes students enrolled and living in Dalton, Gurley, Lodgepole, Potter, or Sidney.

The requirements are as follows:

• 2023 High School Senior living in Cheyenne County

• Pursuing a career in Ag or Ag-related field such as

Agribusiness, Ag Education, Agronomy, Animal Science or Food Science

• Resume

• High School Transcript

• Short letter explaining educational and vocational goals, including the name of your college

• One letter of recommendation

• Essay detailing your interest in Ag

• Must be in the top 50% of your graduating classified

This is a $1,000 scholarship with $500 payable for each semester. Applications are due by April 29th, 2023 and are reviewed and selected by the Cheyenne County Community Center Foundation. See your school's Guidance Counselor for the scholarship application.
