Delta Dawn When the Light Comes On: Week Nine

"Come unto Me, all you who are heavy laden, and I will give you rest," Jesus said. "Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls, for My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30. Here is the light and easy life!

"If you be willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land," Isaiah 1:19 God is on the 'lookout' for a willing, obedient soul, who will say, "YES, I WILL!" Yes, I will seek Your face. Yes, I will listen; yes, I will hear. Yes, I will believe. Yes, I will obey. Yes, I will follow. Yes, I will go. Yes, I will do. Yes, I will declare Your goodness. Yes, I will be Your witness/ambassador. Yes, I will tithe, give, pray and watchfully serve. Yes, I will bless all people You send to me or send me to.

Many believe, but do not follow. Many follow, but do not believe. Many hear, but do not obey, nor go, or do. The Disciples believed, followed and obeyed but were not dangerous to the devil, yet. That took Jesus' death on the cross, burial and resurrection! They waited in Jerusalem for days, praying in one accord for the promise. Holy Spirit descended in tongues of fire and they were endued with all His power and languages they had never learned (tongues). Acts 2.

This original Army of the Meek burst from the upper room as in Joel 2; teaching, preaching and healing with the Word of God. Praying in tongues, Disciples were effectively dangerous to the devil's work because devils cannot understand divine languages. Therefore, satan could not counterfeit plans, or stop, the reversal of curses in Jerusalem or wherever you live, today! Acts 3 describes undeniable miracles. Pharisees had to acknowledge these men had been with Jesus. Acts 4 describes government measures taken to shut down Jesus Messiah. "Lord, behold their threats and grant Your servants all boldness that we may speak Your Word and stretch forth Your Hand to heal, so that signs and wonders may be done through Your Servant, Jesus". Acts 4:29, 30. The world began to shake!!

Beloved Ones, after you've received Him as Savior, imitate Jesus. Resolve to listen for the Lord. Receive Holy Spirit, who leaps, from within you, to comfort, lead, guide in truth and tell you and me of things to come. He is WITHIN the believer so that he is able to go and do. Just refuse the sin and sigh of infirmity and indebtedness. Jesus paid your bill! Let your joy be fully full as John 16:13 provides.

Refuse to quietly camp, just 'getting by'. Friend, you are equipped for such a time as this! Say "Yes!" Take authority in the Name of Jesus! Occupy territory He bought for you. Dig into the Word. Discern, and test, spirits I John 4:1-3. Seek the Lord in tongues. Gain insightful words of wisdom, gifts of healings, working of miracles and prophecy. "Now that we know what we have through Jesus, let's not let it slip through our fingers!" Hebrews 4:16 MSG Next Week: Victory Mindset
