It's been a tough year for wins for the Lady Storm Girls Basketball team, as they dropped two more contests on their way to face a tough Paxton team in the first round of the Subdistrict Tournament.
On Tuesday February 7, the Lady Storm traveled to Potter for a match up with the Lady Coyotes, and although their defense played well, the Lady Storm could not get an edge on the Potter-Dix squad and fell by a final score of 62-to-46.
On Friday, the Lady Storm traveled to Big Springs to face off with a very strong South Platte team, and fell behind early, unable to get shots off or stop the Lady Blue Knights offense, and fell behind 39-to-5 at the halftime break. South Platte cruised through the second half on their way to a big 59-to-12 win.
Creek Valley was scheduled to match up against a strong Paxton team in the first round of the Subdistrict Tournament on Tuesday.
