After dealing with cancellations due to snow during the week, the Leyton Warrior Basketball teams were back in action Saturday in Dalton, hosting the Hemingford Bobcat teams.
The Leyton girls were able to keep their unbeaten record, moving to 4-and-0 on the season. After taking a 28-to-19 lead at the half, the Lady Warriors put up another 29 points in the second half to get past the Lady Bobcats, 57-to-36.
The Leyton boys also remained unbeaten and moved to 5-and-0, having little difficulty getting a lead then pulling away from the Bobcats for a 64-to-51 victory. Both teams were scheduled for a home match up against Arthur County on Tuesday. It will be the boys' last action of the year, while the girls have a match up with Wallace, on the road, on December 29.
